Green Eggs and Hamlet

a) What do you know about Hamlet, the "Melancholy Dane"?
My knowledge on Hamlet is extremely limited. I know it's a Shakespeare play, and I know the main character, Hanlet, is young and faces a lot of decisions.

b) What do you know about Shakespeare?
He's a very talented and well known writer. He wrote countless plays and literary works that have lived on for decades in highschool English classes. I know he encountered a lot of despair and tragedy in his life time and that relays into his plays. Almost every play consists of big dramatic deaths for a majority of its characters.

c) Why do so many students involuntarily frown when they hear the name "Shakespeare"?
Because it's so over done! It's completely tiresome and out dated. It's more like a "have" to than a "want" to sotuatikn in the schools curriculum.

d) What can we do to make studying this play an amazing experience we'll never forget?
Make it up to date. Fix up the phrasing and texts, make it actually enjoyable to read, not a hassle because he's using terms older than our parents.
